  This highly ornamental plant is very suitable for formal gardens and flanking entrance ways.  Sometimes called "Australian Brush-Cherry," it is a vigorous evergreen, compact shrub with vivid red leaves when young, later changing to shining green.  Fluffy white flowers followed by red berries.

 On patios, full sunlight is favored, however they may be used indoors with strong filtered light.  In bright light water more frequently just before tips wilt.  Normal indoor temps are adequate. Will not tolerate a freeze & is best above 40 degrees.  Feed monthly in spring & summer and bi-monthly in winter.  If plant looses it glossy appearance wilts, increase watering.
